Large Field and Outdoor Classroom Rental - Larger Groups

As part of the Hindu celebrations of Ganesh Chaturthi Festival, we will be offering 3 hour timeslots for this area, for groups to take their idols and place into the River Soar.

We will provide the area you have booked, for you to rest your idol and pray. Then we will provide a Bell Boat, instructor, buoyancy aids and paddles as part of the booking to immerse the idol into the water.

For this area, you will also have the use of our 'Stable', which is our smaller, but still substantially sized outdoor classroom.

During your timeslot your group will be allowed up to 75 people in total and 8 people on the Bell Boat. We cannot allow any more people on the Bell Boat, if you wish to bring more people than the allocated 75 there is a suggested donation of £2 per person for any additional person over the allotted amount. But please be aware this area is only suitable for medium sized groups, we may ask people to leave if it becomes unsafe. There are larger areas you can book for larger groups.

Consent forms must be filled in by the people who are going on to the Bell Boat.
