Ganesh Chaturthi Festival - Statue Ceremony

Please be aware we have stopped taking bookings for 2025. If you would like a timeslot, we are fully booked on 28th, 29th and 31st August, but if you would like a timeslot on any other day please contact us.

As part of the Hindu celebrations of Ganesh Chaturthi Festival, we will be offering 2 hour timeslots for groups to take their idols and place into the River Soar.

We will provide a Bell Boat, instructor, buoyancy aids and paddles as part of the booking.

Your booking will look as though you are booking for one participant please ignore this, that one participant will represent your 1 group. During your timeslot your group will be allowed up to 8 people on the Bell Boat, and 40 more people on site. If you wish to bring more people please get in touch, there is a further cost of £2 per person for any additional person over the allotted 40 people.

Consent forms must be filled in by the people who are going on to the Bell Boat.

To support the festival we are running timeslots on 27th,28th, 29th, 30th and 31st August and 2nd September 2025. If you are interested in another day please contact us.
