Bushcraft Competency Award - Training

Do you want to form a solid foundation of skills that will serve you well in your time in the outdoors? Are you an Outdoor Instructor, Scout Leader or Teacher looking for a base level to teach others from? The Institute of Outdoor Learning B.C.A was developed to do just that. Looking at the five core skills of:

·         Fire lighting

·         Camp cooking

·         Water Filtration

·         Sharp tool use

·         Tarps, knots and lashings.

This two-day training course is all about experiential learning and

getting hands on. We will be using a range of equipment to familiarise yourself with skills needed to thrive in the outdoors.
